Nueces County Emergency Services District 1 is located in Northwestern Nueces County, Texas. The district encompasses approximately 175 square miles.

Nueces County Emergency Services District 1 provides fire protection, rescue, and emergency medical services for its estimated 80,000 residents. Nueces County Emergency Services District 1 maintains and operates three fire stations, which are manned twenty-four hours a day.

Nueces County Emergency Services District 1 is bordered on the North by San Patricio County and protects the areas of: Calallen ISD, Tuloso Midway ISD, West Oso ISD, Robstown ISD, and London ISD.
